Dr. Nathan Young

Lead Pastor

A sinner saved by God’s glorious grace, Nathan has been a minister of the gospel since 1996. He grew up in Kentucky and Georgia, and he went to college in Florida and seminary in Michigan. Prior to becoming the Lead Pastor at Grace Church, Nathan served as a missionary pastor in Scotland. Nathan loves teaching the Bible to adults, children, and teens; he shepherds people with grace and truth; and he desires gospel transformation for everyone. At Grace Church Nathan focuses on preaching and teaching, ministry vision and strategy, discipleship and mentoring; and missions and outreach. Nathan has a Doctor of Ministry in pastoral ministry and church revitalization from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Wake Forest, NC). Nathan reads constantly, likes hiking and camping, admires cars he cannot afford, and plays John Madden Football. He married his best friend, Krystal, in 2000; and God has blessed them with Miles and Madeleine—the best children in the world.

Brandon Nunnally

Worship Pastor

Brandon is a Georgia native who was born and raised in metro Atlanta. He became a follower of Jesus as a child. Brandon earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bob Jones University and a MBA from Georgia State University. Brandon is a finance manager at a Fortune 500 company. He married the love of his life, Evie (also a Georgia native), and they’ve been blessed with five children. As Grace Church’s worship pastor, Brandon points the congregation to the beauty of Christ through song and gathered worship. Brandon also leads worship for our youth group, and he models Christlikeness to our students.

Mark Beardon

Elder

Born and raised in north Alabama, Mark became a Christian in elementary school. He has lived in Georgia since 2002, following over a decade in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, where he met and married his wife Becky. They currently reside in Woodstock, Georgia with their six children, Ruth, Melody, Joseph, Peter, Carolyn, and Mae. Mark holds BS and PhD degrees in electrical and computer engineering from–respectively–The University of Alabama and Carnegie Mellon University. He currently works as a software systems engineer in Atlanta. Mark has been a member of Grace Church since 2007 and has recently enjoyed teaching an adult Sunday School class. He also enjoys reading and discussing books, playing the piano, hiking with his family in the north Georgia mountains, and following politics and current events.

Tom Goodrich

Elder

Tom was born in Delaware, and raised in California. Tom and his wife Robin married in September 1990, being blessed with 6 children: Suzianne, Katie, Ben, Jonny, Hollie & Ellice. Tom received the grace of Christ in 1987 in his last year of college at California State University, Sacramento. He graduated with a BA in Business Finance, and went on to complete 3 years of seminary work at Western Theological Seminary. He has spent his career in corporate finance. Tom has been a member of Grace Church since 2007, and has taught middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults. In his spare time, Tom enjoys camping and fishing with his family.

Tommy Gravitte

Elder

Born and raised in Northwest Georgia, Tommy became a Christian in junior high. He currently lives in Canton, Georgia with his wife Amy and they have four children at home, three adult children, a son-in-law, and one grandson. Tommy earned a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and has been a member of Grace Church since 2001. He currently owns and operates a design build construction firm based in Atlanta, which specializes in commercial, institutional, religious, and public construction projects. Tommy also enjoys spending time with his family, reading books, politics, radio controlled planes, cars, helicopters and drones, as well as playing trumpet and guitar.
